Tesselune Privacy Policy

Information handled when you play

Tesselune stores gameplay information locally on your device, including settings, control preferences, scores, virtual currency, purchased or earned game items, reward availability, and perk timers.

If you sign in to Google Play Games, Tesselune uses your verified Play Games player ID and display name to keep cloud data associated with the correct player. Firebase stores selected progress such as wallet Gold, Bank Gold, Rotate and Freeze items, permanent Remove Ads and Double Gold entitlements, leaderboard reward records, and synchronization information. Daily Gold claim limits and temporary Double Gold time remain on the device.

When you make a purchase, our secure backend receives the product ID and purchase token, verifies the transaction with Google Play, and stores purchase-related information such as a one-way token hash, order or product details, purchase time and status, and the resulting entitlement or virtual-currency grant. MacAnUltaigh Games does not receive your full payment-card number.

If you voluntarily use the in-game feedback form, we collect the category and message you submit, together with the app version and operating-system platform. The form does not ask for your email address.

If you install Tesselune through a friend referral or creator campaign link, Google Play may provide the link's referral or campaign parameters and installation timestamp. We may associate the referral relationship or first eligible creator campaign with your verified Play Games player ID. Friend referral information is used to provide in-game rewards to both players.

The game does not ask you to provide your name, postal address, contacts, photos, precise location, health information, or a separate Tesselune username and password.

Online services

Tesselune uses services provided by Google LLC. Information handled by those services is subject to your Google settings and Google's Privacy Policy.

• Google Play Games: If you sign in, Google may handle your Play Games player identity and profile information, submitted scores, rankings, device information, and diagnostic information. Tesselune uses the verified player identity for leaderboards, cloud progress, and leaderboard rewards. Your selected leaderboard region remains on your device.
• Firebase and Google Cloud: These services host Tesselune's player-data synchronization, leaderboard reward delivery, purchase verification, feedback storage, and related security and diagnostic logs. Cloud requests may process network information such as an IP address.
• Google AdMob: Optional rewarded ads may involve advertising or device identifiers, IP address and general location inferred from it, device information, ad interactions, and diagnostic or performance information. Google and participating advertising partners may use this information to provide ads, measure them, prevent fraud, and comply with privacy choices. For players attributed to a creator campaign, Tesselune may receive the rewarded-ad placement, impression-level revenue value, currency, and precision level to measure that campaign. This information does not include payment-card details.
• Google User Messaging Platform: Where required, this service presents privacy choices and stores your consent selection so the advertising service can respect it.
• Google Play Billing: Optional purchases are processed by Google Play. Google handles payment details and transaction information. Tesselune receives and securely verifies the information needed to provide or restore what you bought.
• Google Play Install Referrer: Provides referral and campaign parameters associated with a Google Play installation so Tesselune can fulfill friend referrals and measure creator campaigns.
• Resend: When feedback is submitted, Resend sends a notification containing the feedback and submission details to MacAnUltaigh Games. See Resend's Privacy Policy.

How information is used

Information is used only as needed to:

• run the game and preserve your progress and preferences;
• synchronize selected progress and purchases between devices using the same Play Games profile;
• submit scores and show leaderboard results when you use Play Games;
• calculate, deliver, and prevent duplicate daily and weekly leaderboard rewards;
• process, provide, and restore purchases;
• receive and respond to feedback that you choose to submit;
• show optional rewarded ads and grant the related in-game reward;
• fulfill friend referrals and grant their in-game rewards;
• attribute eligible installs, purchases, and rewarded-ad revenue to creator campaigns;
• measure ad performance, maintain security, prevent fraud, and diagnose technical problems; and
• honor privacy choices and meet legal obligations.

Sharing and advertising

MacAnUltaigh Games does not sell personal information for money. We use Google Cloud and Firebase as service providers for hosting and processing, and Resend as a service provider for feedback email notifications. Google and its advertising partners may collect, process, or share the information described above when providing advertising, Play Games, distribution, billing, security, and technical services for Tesselune. Their own policies govern information they control.

Depending on your location and choices, ads may be personalized or non-personalized. The consent message identifies participating advertising providers and gives eligible users options before ads are requested.

Retention and deletion

Local game data remains on your device until you clear Tesselune's storage in Android settings or uninstall the game. Firebase player progress, entitlements, reward records, and submitted feedback are retained while reasonably needed to provide and protect these features, or until a verified deletion request is completed. Some purchase and transaction records may be retained when reasonably necessary for fraud prevention, accounting, dispute handling, or legal compliance. Service providers may retain security and diagnostic logs according to their own policies.

Temporary attribution-event records used to prevent duplicate counting are scheduled for deletion after approximately 90 days. Aggregated creator-campaign totals may be retained as reasonably needed for campaign measurement, payment records, fraud prevention, and dispute handling.

Tesselune does not create a separate publisher-operated account. You may request deletion of Firebase player data or feedback controlled by MacAnUltaigh Games by emailing MacAnUltaighGames@gmail.com with the subject “Tesselune Data Deletion Request.” Include your Play Games display name if the request concerns cloud player data. We may provide additional steps to verify that the data belongs to you. Deleting publisher-controlled data does not delete information controlled separately by Google; manage that information through your Google account and Google Play Games settings.

Your privacy choices

• Use the privacy choices option in Tesselune's settings when it is available to review or change advertising consent.
• Manage ad personalization, Play Games, and other privacy settings through your Google account and Android device.
• Choose whether to use optional rewarded ads, purchases, and leaderboards.
• Clear local game information through Android settings or by uninstalling Tesselune.
• Request deletion of publisher-controlled cloud player data or submitted feedback using the contact method above.

Depending on where you live, you may also have rights concerning access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or withdrawal of consent. Contact us if you want help making a request about information controlled by MacAnUltaigh Games.

Security

We use reasonable measures intended to protect information handled by Tesselune, including encrypted network connections, restricted database access, verified Play Games identity, and one-way hashes for session and purchase-token records. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

Children

Tesselune is a general-audience puzzle game and is not designed primarily for children. We do not knowingly ask children to provide personal information directly to MacAnUltaigh Games. Parents and guardians can contact us with questions or concerns.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when Tesselune, its service providers, or applicable requirements change. The date at the top of this page will show when the policy was last revised.
